Award winning composer and multi instrumentalist , Jon Wygens is a unique and exciting composer for film and television.
His work includes the hugely successful series 
The Durrells 
  
(co- composed with Ruth Barrett) and his music has featured on outstanding series such as the Emmy nominated 
Victoria, Ivor Novello nominated 
The Collection 
and Andrew Davis’s Jane Austen adaptation 
Sanditon.
Jon has composed scores for several feature films including 
Flying Blind, starring Helen McCrory (Peaky Blinders) , numerous documentaries such as BAFTA Winning 
The Murder Trial 
and popular series such as Michael Portillo’s 
Great….Railway Journeys.
Notable recent works include the theme song for the series 
It's Pony! 
for Nikelodeon and the music for 
The Age Of Nature, a major new documentary series for the BBC and PBS narrated by Uma Thurman due to air autumn 2020.  
Jon studied at the National Film & Television School graduating with a Masters degree in composing for Film and Television and lives in London. His studio is in the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch.
