Michael Portillo going round the country on a train wasn’t something I imagined would catch on but that shows what little I know. The series has become a phenomenon and after over a decade shows no signs of moving into the sidings.
An immensely enjoyable series, I have had a great time composing a huge range of music for it over the years and it’s always a pleasure to work with one of the nicest teams one could hope for.
