Jon Wygens is an award-winning composer for film and television.
A graduate of the National Film and Television School, his recent work includes the ITV drama series THE DURRELLS (additional music) and feature films including FLYING BLIND starring Helen McCrory (Skyfall, Hugo, Harry Potter), MISS CHRISTINA one of the most successful Romanian films of 2013 (for which Jon received a GOPO award for Best Score), Brazillian drama PERMANENCIA which premiered at the prestigious Entrevues Belfort Festival international du film 2014 and AND THEN I WAS FRENCH starring Joanna Vanderham (What Daisy Knew, The Paradise).
Short-film work includes THE PROCESSION staring Lily Tomlin and Lucy Punch and INFIDEL which won Best UK Short at the 2009 Raindance Film Festival.
Television credits includes THE MURDER TRIAL which won awards for best documentary at the BAFTA TV Craft, Royal Television Society and Broadcast awards 2014 and many popular series such as GRAND DESIGNS and GREAT BRITISH RAILWAY JOURNEYS
